Tata Power, a leader in India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, has launched a new EV charging station in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This move aims to enhance e-mobility across Eastern UP, linking key cities like Sultanpur, Ballia, and Gorakhpur.
The installation features a 30kW charger at Puneet Auto Sales in Ballia, marking the beginning of the corridor. Azamgarh hosts another 30kW charger at the Sarvodya Digital Library, enabling travel over 130 kilometers. A 30kW charger is also available in Sultanpur at Motel NH56. The route culminates in Lucknow, where a 60kW fast charger is located at Shalimar Corporate Park.

This new infrastructure is a key step toward bridging the EV charging gap in the region. It strengthens the network from East to West UP, supporting the growth of electric vehicles. Tata Power’s extensive EZ Charge network includes over 5,500 charging points across more than 550 cities.
