Navi Mumbai, Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL) has marked a pivotal step in bioenergy development with the expansion of its 3,500 sq. ft. Research Innovation Centre (RIC) in Mahape. This advanced facility is poised to transform the biomethanation industry through cutting-edge research and sustainable solutions.
The RIC aims to be a powerhouse for innovations in bioenergy and biomaterials, featuring flagship technologies like the Sanjeevak Carbonisation System, which converts biomass into high-value carbon products. Other focus areas include biostimulants, biofertilizers, and cost-efficient scrubber media, all targeted to enhance biomethanation efficiency.
ORSL is fostering collaborations with academic institutions and industry leaders to accelerate innovative waste management solutions. Research at the centre includes assessing biogas potential from diverse organic materials, paving the way for efficient, scalable biogas systems.
