Ola Electric, India’s leading pure-play EV company, announced a transformative expansion plan to quadruple its distribution network to 4,000 stores by December 20, 2024. With over 3,200 new outlets and 800 existing ones, this marks one of the world’s fastest distribution rollouts. The initiative aims to bolster electric vehicle (EV) adoption across India’s diverse markets.
Each store will feature co-located service centers to enhance after-sales support, aligning with Ola’s #HyperService initiative. Chairman Bhavish Aggarwal highlighted the move as pivotal for democratizing electric mobility in urban and rural India, stating:
“This expansion is a giant leap toward India’s EV future, enabling access to every corner of the country beyond tier-1 and tier-2 cities.”
Ola’s EV offerings include the newly launched Gig and S1 Z scooter range, starting at an affordable ₹39,999. These scooters cater to diverse needs with features like removable batteries and options for personal or commercial use. Reservations are now open for deliveries in 2025.

Its aggressive store rollout is part of a broader strategy, including training 1 lakh third-party mechanics and onboarding 10,000 partners under the Network Partner Program by 2025.
Ola‘s EV portfolio spans a wide range of price points, with the S1 and S1 X models starting at ₹74,999. Upcoming innovations like the Roadster motorcycle series, with prices beginning at ₹74,999, further solidify Ola’s leadership in the growing EV segment.
