NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC, has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar. This partnership aims to drive renewable energy investments in the state.
The MoU was formalized during the Bihar Business Connect 2024 Global Investors’ Summit, held on December 20, 2024, in Patna. Shri Alok Ranjan Ghosh, Director (Industries), and Shri Bimal Gopalachari, Addl. GM (Business Development), NGEL, exchanged the agreement in the presence of Bihar’s Industries Minister Shri Nitish Mishra, Secretary Smt. Bandana Preyashi, and NTPC’s Regional ED (East-I), Shri Sudip Nag.

- Ground-mounted and floating solar installations
- Battery energy storage systems
