Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Ltd. (MLDL), the real estate arm of the Mahindra Group, has announced the second phase of its industrial parks project in Tamil Nadu. The project, branded as Origins by Mahindra, is a collaboration with Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation.
The expansion involves an investment of ₹225 crores by Mahindra World City Developers Ltd. (MWCDL) and Sumitomo Corporation. This phase will focus on acquiring land and developing infrastructure to create a cutting-edge industrial ecosystem.

Amit Kumar Sinha, MD & CEO of MLDL, emphasized their commitment to creating industrial clusters that support economic growth and sustainable progress. The existing 307-acre Mahindra Industrial Park Chennai Limited (MIPCL) already hosts global and domestic businesses, contributing to regional development.
