November 25, 2024: KEC International Ltd., a leading infrastructure EPC player and part of the RPG Group, has announced the receipt of new orders totaling Rs. 1,114 crores. The orders span across its various business verticals, including Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Civil, Railways, and Cables.
The company’s T&D division secured significant contracts in the Middle East and the Americas, including a 400 kV transmission line project in Oman and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles for projects in the Americas.
In the Civil business, KEC has won orders in India’s industrial sector, diversifying its client base with new reputed customers. The Railways division secured a Metro Overhead Electrification (OHE) project in India, marking its strong foothold in the technologically advanced metro segment.
Additionally, the Cables segment has won multiple orders for supplying cables both within India and abroad.

Commenting on the new orders, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, said, “We are pleased with the various orders secured across our business verticals. The order in Oman, along with previous contracts from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, has further strengthened our leadership position in the Middle East. Our Civil business has also diversified with notable clients in the industrial segment, while the Railway order highlights our focus on technologically enabled metro projects.”
The new contracts push KEC’s year-to-date order intake to approximately Rs. 14,600 crores, reflecting a robust growth of nearly 50% compared to the previous year.
