These vessels will sail across the Hooghly, connecting Triveni in the north to Diamond Harbour in the south, even in challenging weather conditions.
GRSE’s earlier prototype, Dheu, a zero-emission ferry, has already set the standard for this green initiative. The latest contract, valued at ₹226.18 crore, marks a significant step towards sustainable water transport in India.
This partnership underscores GRSE’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and public service in modernizing India’s waterways.
