BEL Secures Rs 634 Crore Orders to Boost Defence Capabilities

New orders include Akash Missile System maintenance, communication equipment, and more.

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence PSU, announced new orders worth ₹634 crore. These are additional orders secured after November 8, 2024. The major contracts include maintenance of the Akash Missile System, supply of telescopic sights, communication equipment, jammers, electronic voting machines, and essential test stations.

With these new deals, BEL‘s total orders for the financial year 2024-25 have reached an impressive ₹8,828 crore. This achievement underscores BEL’s pivotal role in enhancing India’s defence and communication systems.
