ACME Sun Power Private Limited, part of ACME Solar Holdings, has secured a ₹3,753 crore loan from REC Limited. The funds will support a 320 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The project combines solar and wind energy. Solar capacity will be set up in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, while wind power sites will be located in Bhuj and Jam Khambhaliya, Gujarat. A Power Purchase Agreement with SJVN is already in place, and land acquisition is nearly complete.

REC Limited is the sole lender, showing strong trust in ACME Solar’s capabilities. The company’s chairman, Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, said this support strengthens their commitment to India’s green energy goals.
These renewable energy projects aim to boost clean power generation and support the nation’s transition to sustainable energy solutions.
