November 07, 2024 – Aurionpro Solutions, a leading tech provider in transit and fintech, has secured a landmark contract with Chennai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (CMRL). The deal is for the implementation of Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems for Phase II of Chennai Metro, covering Corridors 3 and 5.
The AFC system will improve the commuter experience on two key routes: Corridor 3 from Sholinganallur to Sipcot and Corridor 5 from Koyambedu to Elcot Park. The state-of-the-art system is designed to handle high passenger traffic, enhancing both operational efficiency and convenience for travelers.

End-to-End Project Execution
Under the contract, Aurionpro will oversee the full delivery of the AFC system, including design, manufacturing, installation, and testing. The company will also provide ongoing maintenance and support services. The project will be based in the heart of Chennai’s IT corridor, a key area for the city’s growth.
