Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has announced significant road infrastructure projects aimed at boosting connectivity and economic growth in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
In Andhra Pradesh, a ₹252.42 crore project for a 6-lane elevated corridor in Srikakulam’s Ranasthalam area has been approved. This project aims to ease traffic, enhance urban mobility, and foster economic opportunities in the region.

In Madhya Pradesh, the development and upgradation of the Gyaraspur to Rahatgarh section of National Highway-146, with a budget of ₹903.44 crore, will strengthen trade and improve connectivity along the Bhopal-Kanpur corridor.
These initiatives emphasize the government’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and promoting regional economic development.
