Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) and Tivolt Electric Vehicles Private Limited have partnered to expand EV charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles across India. Tivolt, a Murugappa Group venture, specializes in small electric commercial vehicles, while TPREL is a leader in renewable energy and EV charging solutions.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by senior executives from both companies. It aims to leverage TPREL’s expertise in EV charging and Tivolt’s growing network of small electric commercial vehicles to create a robust ecosystem.

Charging stations will be deployed at Tivolt dealerships, customer sites, and high-traffic public areas. Additionally, TPREL plans to integrate solar energy systems, making EV charging more affordable and reducing carbon emissions.
TPREL has already established over 6,500 public charging points and plans to bring its EZ Charge network to Tivolt customers. This collaboration supports India’s transition to clean energy and promotes sustainable transportation.
