November 25, 2024 – Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited (Gulf Oil) and Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (Piaggio India) have renewed their exclusive partnership to develop and distribute co-branded high-performance lubricants for Piaggio’s commercial vehicles. The collaboration, extended until 2030, focuses on advancing lubricant technology and expanding into India and select international markets.
The agreement was signed by Diego Graffi, Chairman & MD of Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, and Ravi Chawla, MD & CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India. Since the partnership began in 2020, the companies have introduced customized solutions for BS VI and electric vehicles (EVs), driving innovation and enhancing vehicle longevity.

Ravi Chawla highlighted the significance of this renewal, stating, “This collaboration aligns with our mission to deliver specialized lubricants across traditional and EV segments. With India’s growing commercial vehicle market, this partnership is well-positioned to seize new opportunities.”
Diego Graffi echoed this sentiment, emphasizing Gulf Oil‘s role in supporting Piaggio’s focus on lightweight and 3-wheeler EV segments. The partnership will also expand into advanced EV fluids to meet evolving customer demands.
